Heard Around The House
While Papa Jack and I were sitting together on the couch...
Jack: "Ella, was that a toot?"
Ella: "No, that was the couch"
Based on the riotous laughter from Mommy, Daddy, Nana and Papa that ensued, I guess I made a funny.
While Papa Jack and I were sitting together on the couch...
Yesterday Daddy dropped me off at Nana and Papa's for no specific reason other than they wanted to hang out with yours truly. With their parental duties on hold for roughly 24 hours, Mommy and Daddy put their free time to good use.
Based on an old English version of the story, simple Jack Spriggins trades his family's cow for five colored beans. His long suffering mother tosses the beans out the window where they magically grow as tall as the sky. An amazing adventure ensues when Jack climbs to the top of the beanstalk and becomes a slave to the Cyclops wife of the Fee-fi-fo-fum Giant. Struggling to feed her husband's enormous appetite the excitement continues as the wife also tries to protect Jack from the giant's wrath. A golden hen, a magic singing harp and even a green fairy and a fool add to the musical merriment.
Today Daddy turns 34!! After being treated to a wonder Thai dinner over at the Smiths last night with lots of yummy bubbles and a personalized cake, he and I have a date together tonight at the Barking Dog for some beers and perhaps an appetizer of waffle fries while Mommy is doing her big annual holiday set-up for Starbucks. Last year she was out until 4:30am... Hopefully she make it home a bit sooner this year.
Today the family Beel met up with Campbell and Tia Smith at the Bay Theater in byootiful downtown Ballard to take in Bee Movie, the new animated feature starring Jery Seinfeld.
