Home Sick

I'm home sick today - home sick as opposed to homesick. Last night I had an incredibly sleepless night as I was suffering a fever of 103 degrees. I'm still a little warm this morning, so I have to stay home as per daycare policy. And guess who gets to stay with me... Daddy!! We're going to have fun reading books and watching Baby Einstein videos. Wish me a fast track to recovery - I've got a meeting with Kofi Annan tomorrow about the Diapers for Dinner program.

Ballard Cosmo Re-Opens

Great news people... Cosmopolitan Kids in Ballard has finally re-opened with an actual license. Yippee!! We are so glad that it's finally open. We'd like to thank the following people that remained committed to getting it licensed and maintaining care for us in the meantime: Cindi Togar, Amy Lower, Steph Roberts, Shawna Smits, Don and Amy Light, Samantha McKnight and the crew at Queen Anne Cosmo Kids.

Happy Day!

Turkey Day

Today the Mom, the Dad, and I all headed down to Olympia, WA to celebrate Thanksgiving at the home of Bob and Mary Wildenhaus. Of course Papa and Nana were there along with the Wilden boys, the Powers', and Ben's girlfriend Tawni and family.

Bob fried two turkeys and we played Pictionary on big dry-erase boards. Fun! Can you tell that I'm enjoying myself?

Ellapolitan Kids

This week has seen Cindi and Steph watching Henry and I at our house as we got bounced from our temp Cosmo location. I believe I overheard Steph telling Daddy last night that they have finally received their license for the Ballard location. Could it be true? Might we actually be able to go back to our beloved Ballard facility after the holiday? Maybe Bailey, Henry, and our families can raise our glasses on Thanksgiving in celebration of getting back on track at Cosmopolitan Kids. Now that would truly be something to be thankful for!

A New Computer

Sorry that I've been out of touch lately... Dad has been phasing in a new computer here at home to replace the one from aniquity that we've been using up until now. Updating the website has taken a backseat as a result.

To get your fix for all things Ella, head over to my photo page and check out a bunch of new pics from the past few weeks that have recently been added.

Xoxo,
Ella
