Mom's Night Out - Agua Verde

The PEPS mom's (sans Pam) headed down to North Lake Union's Agua Verde Paddle Club and Cafe for some kayaking, a bit of fresh Mexican food, and some yummy libations while the dad's all convened at my house with the kids. It sounds like the outing was a fun time and the evening was beautiful.

Vancouver, BC

This weekend the fam and I headed to Vancouver, BC with our friends the Smiths: Doug, Tia and my pal Campbell. This was a big weekend as it was the first international outing for both Campbell and I. I can't speak for her, but my fave was Stanley Park. My least favorite thing was not being able to speak Canandian. Here's a pick of mom and I playing in a water fountain...

Seafair Triathlon

Today Daddy and I got up early and headed to Seward Park to cheer Mommy on while she competed in her first triathlon. The Seafair Triathlon is a "sprint distance" triathlon featuring a 1/2-mile swim, 12-mile bike and 3.1-mile run. What a beautiful day for Mom's first event!

Mom finished in one hour and 48 minutes and finished strong! I can't believe what an amazing woman she is. We went to Ray's Boathouse afterwards for lunch overlooking Puget Sound and she got a bit of a sunburn. It may have been worth it as she looked pretty cool in her sleeveless top with her race numbers Sharpied on her arms.

The slate has gone into the entry way and doors have been hung. Here is a photo of what will be Mom's office.

Daddy and I went over to the new house today. They've finished the mudding and taping. The walls have been texturized too. It's coming along!

4th of July

Our 4th of July kind of sucked because mom got really, really sick. Better luck next time. =(

No Woman, No Crawl

Today I went to see my mildly insane pediatrician. Just kidding... he's not insane. He's just wired to function in a completely different universe than the one I'm just barely getting to know. Anyway, he kind of busted Mom's balls because she wasn't working hard enough on getting me to crawl. He said that I was physically operating on the level of a 7 month old developmentally. Huh?! I could've crawled a long time ago if I wanted! I'm more interested in speech and over-all cuteness.

We left that appointment with a mandate to get me crawling within 6 weekes or else I would "have" to go to physical therapy at $150 a pop. Yeah right. Needless to say, there will be a conversation at day care tomorrow about the urgent need for more tummy time. Damn.
