Today the Dad and I spent our second consecutive day at home due to both magnanimous and fortuitous circumstances: Monday was MLK Jr. day and today was a snow day. One was planned one was not... Both are a saddle-sore on the hide of a toddler and a rock in the shoe of a working parent. I WANNA GET BACK TO MY ROUTINE!! Meanwhile, Daddy wants to get back to his poutine.

In order to keep me from totally going stir-crazy Daddy invited Amy, Audrey and beau Henry Light over for a play-a-thon. If Papa Jack were here it would've been a play-a-thong of course, but that evokes a sordid tale for another time.
