On the Way to Bodega

This weekend Mommy, Daddy and I are flying into Oakland, CA with Papa Jack. The purpose is to meet up with Nana and the Trautwein family to celebrate the life of my late great-grandmother, Mariedna Gossage Simpson Nelson, or GG as I've always known her. You may remember that when I was very wee mom took me on a flight to Laguna Beach to meet GG herself.

Great-Auntie Sue Trautwein and Nana rented a house on Bodega Bay for the whole family to bunk at in order to attend GG's memorial and connect as a family: Great-Uncle Tom Trautwein, the aforementioned Sue Trautwein, 2nd cousin Chad Trautwein and his daughter Jordan, 2nd cousins Todd and Kerry Trautwein with their children Evan and Natalie. Also in attendance was a little hired help in the form of Jordan's nanny named Jessica.

This is also big for the family three as this is my first flight in my own seat. Daddy and Mommy are looking forward to having me bolted down so that they don't have to spend the 2 hour flight getting lap dances courtesy of yours truly... the WRONG kind of lap dance.
