This weekend consisted of a road trip to Daddy's old stomping grounds for a visit with Grammy Sam and the Marum's. Mike Marum is Dad's brother-in-law and his daughter Anna is his niece. Grammy Sam's birthday is on May 31st and Anna's is on June 5th, so this was kind of a belated Mother's Day visit for Daddy and an opportunity to pre-celebrate a couple birthdays.

After a hang session at Grammy Sam's on Saturday, we went to The Heathman Lodge for a dinner at it's restaurant, Hudson's Bar & Grill. Food and wine were consumed, good times were had, and then we retired back to Grammy Sam's for some wonderful Macrina cake that Mommy picked up in honor of the birthdays. All in all, a great weekend.
