Superbowl Party
Today my family and I all headed over the Kathi Cronin and Gerard Denommee's house in West Seattle to watch the Superbowl. Kathi and Gerard are originally from Boston, so obviously they were rooting for the Patriots. Par usual, my dad was just rooting for a good game. In attendence were: Mom, Dad, Kathi, Gerard, their kids Sophie and Phalen, Anne-Marie, Brett, Grandma Cynthia and Papa, as well as Great-Grandpa Jer and Great-Grandma Joan.
We had assorted unhealthy snacks and the men were swilling beer while the women were chugging wine. It was a beautiful site behold... All of the good friends, my great-grandparents, and a pretty darn good football game. The Patriots won. Everyone is talking about a dynasty now.
The only bummer of the day being that I had to bid farewell to my great-grandparents. Again, it was so great that they came up from California to see me. Hopefully I'll be seeing them again soon when I visit San Francisco in March!
