The Grups Arrive!

My great-grandparents, Joan and Jerry Herzog, just arrived from their home in Santa Rosa, California. I've been hearing a lot about the "King" of the Mongeese. This is a bit of an inside reference, but as I grow into my role as one of the Mongeese, you'll be hearing tons more about this. And it's worth mentioning that the fact that they hopped on a plane to come see me is a bit of a miracle as they aren't too keen on coming up to the Great Northwest.

It was so great to see them tonight and we're going to get to spend the whole weekend together. My great-grandpa is really funny and had me in stitches for most of the night as he was trying to teach me the signs for fastballs, curveballs, and their locations in reference to the plate. I guess he's expecting me to be a baseball or softball player. Great-grandma has got the grandma touch and likes to hold me close. You're not going to catch me complaining. Hopefully there's fun in store during their visit this weekend.
